Autumn Moon® Pear
Autumn Moon® Brand History
Orchard Direct Inc is dedicated to delivering fresh, delicious, and nutritious fruits from our contracted farms to American consumers. We specialize in comprehensive global supply chain management, including growing, packing, distribution, and marketing. After the bilateral fresh pear export agreement between the United States and China in 2015, our company successfully imported the first container of Sand pears from China to the United States.
01
The contracted Autumn Moon® Orchards are located in Shandong peninsula, China
In 2015, Orchard Direct introduced the Japanese Akizuki pear for experimental cultivation in Laiyang, Shandong Peninsula. We believed that this variety had significant market potential, not only in China but also in the United States. After consulting with our legal team, we successfully registered the trademark Autumn Moon® (Reg.No. 6,088,959) and the 秋月® trademark (Reg.No. 6,045,854). Later, the Green Autumn Moon® trademark was also designated for a Korean pear variety.
02
Autumn Moon® pear is shown to American consumers in supermarkets.
We standardize orchard management and product quality while investing significantly in marketing efforts. As a result of our extensive promotion in the U.S. market, our brand began gaining recognition in 2021. Today, Autumn Moon® pears rank as the top-selling Asian pears in the United States' Asian Market and are gradually gaining acceptance among American consumers.
03
Autumn Moon pear tasting events always receive high guest satisfaction.
However, we have uncovered instances of illicit importers counterfeiting our trademark and packaging to distribute low-quality Asian pears, significantly damaging the reputation of the Autumn Moon® brand. To safeguard our rights, we are collaborating with the United States Customs and Border Protection and pursuing legal action in a United States federal court.
